I am elated to finally bring my lifelong love of animals to service for pet owners in the Hamilton/Ancaster/Stoney Creek catchment. From my first cat, Fluffy, to my recent marriage to a certified “Catman” (Paul, who literally wore cat socks to his nuptials and had a cat theme wedding cake), I am the embodiment of a pet lover and caregiver. With the support of my pet friendly spouse “Who is Watching the Cats” is my dream second career. I’m looking forward to living the mantra: “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”.
I uniquely offer what I call the three P’s for you and your pet: Passion, Persistence, and Professionalism.
Passion
I adore all animals and offer my services as an umbrella of care to dogs, cats, fish and birds. The welfare of all creatures is my concern. In addition, I am an avid animal activist against both the hunting of and the captivity of wild animals. I’m also the proud mother of a feral rescue, Skittles.
Persistence
As an experienced pet Mother and frequent animal caregiver over the years, I understand that animals can require a persistent approach in certain circumstances: creating bonds, pilling, maintaining schedules and engaging in play. I understand that patience is a requirement when building new friendships with any animal.
Professionalism
I understand that both my furry friends and their parents deserve the best care possible. This is why I have completed my ten hour Pet First Aide Certificate I'm also certified as a Professional Pet Sitter, and a member in good standing with Pet Sitters International. Finally, I am insured to provide the best protection for your pets and bonded to protect your property.

How Who Is Watching The Cats is ensuring that you and your pets are safe from exposure to COVID-19
• When visiting a client’s home face masks will be worn at all times. In addition I will leave my shoes at the door.
• I will sanitize my hands immediately upon entering and leaving a client’s home.
• All high touch surfaces such as faucets, kitchen counters, equipment, door knobs, and light switches will be disinfected with Clorox wipes.
• If at anytime I display any COVID-19 like symptoms I will cancel our visit and will work with you to find an alternative solution. If a cancellation is required for this reason you will be reimbursed for any incomplete services.
• I ask that if you or anyone in your household is displaying any COVID-19 like symptoms please let me know.
